PatientSide
Privacy Policy
Effective May 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information on the PatientSide marketing website. It covers the marketing site only; a separate, more rigorous privacy notice will govern the PatientSide product when it becomes available.
My Local Huddle, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operating under the brand name PatientSide, is the data controller for information collected through patientside.com (the “Site”).
1. Information we collect
When you join the early-access waitlist, we collect:
- Your email address.
- Your role (patient, family member or caregiver, or other).
- The timestamp of your submission.
- Your browser user agent and referring page, captured automatically.
When you simply browse the Site, we collect:
- Aggregated, non-identifying analytics (page views, country, device type, performance metrics) via Vercel Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across sites.
- If we have enabled it: anonymized usage data via Google Analytics 4, including page views, approximate location (city level), device, and referrer. Google Analytics uses cookies. You can opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
We do not collect health information, insurance information, financial information, or other sensitive categories of data through the Site.
2. How we use your information
We use waitlist information to:
- Confirm your signup.
- Send you product updates, early-access invitations, and PatientSide news.
- Improve the Site and the product.
We use analytics data only in aggregate to understand which content is useful and where the Site has problems.
3. Service providers we share data with
We use the following third-party service providers to operate the Site. Each is bound by its own privacy policy.
| Provider | Purpose | Privacy |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel, Inc. | Website hosting and Web Vitals analytics | vercel.com |
| Loops | Sending email to waitlist members (when wired) | loops.so |
| Google LLC | Google Analytics 4 (when enabled) | google.com |
| Reddit, Inc. | Conversion tracking via the Reddit Pixel (when enabled), so we can measure which Reddit ads bring waitlist signups | reddit.com |
We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. When the Reddit Pixel is active, we share the fact that you visited the Site and the fact that you signed up with Reddit so we can measure which Reddit ads work; the pixel uses a pseudonymous browser identifier and does not transmit your email or other directly identifying information. Apart from the providers above, we will not share your information with third parties without your express permission, except where required by law (for example, in response to a valid legal request) or in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), in which case we will require the recipient to honor this policy.
4. Cookies and tracking signals
The Site uses minimal cookies. Vercel Analytics is cookie-less. Google Analytics 4, if enabled, sets cookies for analytics purposes. The Reddit Pixel, when enabled, sets a first-party cookie named _rdt_uuid with a 90-day expiration so Reddit can attribute conversions to specific ads. You can refuse cookies via your browser settings.
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If your browser sends GPC, the Reddit Pixel will not be initialized for your session and no conversion events will be sent to Reddit. We do not separately respond to the older Do Not Track (DNT) signal, which has been deprecated by major browsers.
5. Data retention
We retain your waitlist information until you ask us to delete it or until we shut down the waitlist, whichever comes first. Analytics data is retained according to the providers’ default retention windows (typically 14–26 months).
6. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Access the information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is inaccurate.
- Delete the information.
- Stop using your email for marketing.
To make a request, email braden@mylocalhuddle.com. We will respond within 30 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share your information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any right, email the address above.
EU and UK residents (GDPR / UK GDPR)
Our lawful bases for processing your information are your consent (when you submit the form) and our legitimate interestin operating and improving the Site. You have the rights listed above plus the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Information may be transferred to and processed in the United States by the providers listed in Section 3, who maintain appropriate safeguards.
7. Children’s privacy
The Site is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted information through the Site, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls on our systems. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever experience a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
The PatientSide product, when available, will be designed with HIPAA-aligned security practices. Those practices will be described in a separate notice when the product launches.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated to waitlist members by email.
